In the study published by Institute of Business Ethics, Graham Dietz and Nicole Gillespie discusses the consequences of not obeying ethic rules through crises in Siemens, Mattel, Toyota, BAE Systems, The BBC and Severn Trent. In the working, they argue each case under its circumstances and show how the intervention worked or not, instead of representing corporates what ‘‘to do’’ or ‘‘not do’’ lists in times of crisis.

While they associate trustworthy with ethics, they claim that these two concepts sharing a common basis.
