The 4th Brainstorming Meeting organized by the RepMan Reputation Research Center took place on May 13, 2016, hosted by Bahçeşehir University. The meeting’s theme was “How Should Companies Manage Their Reputation?”. The full-day meeting, attended by 35 participants, included corporate communications managers, PR agency executives, academics, representatives from non-governmental organizations and professional associations, and industry publications. The meeting was moderated by Salim Kadıbeşegil, founder and Advisory Board Member of the RepMan Reputation Research Center. The meeting was held in three parts. First, general problems facing reputation management were discussed. In the second part, group discussions shaped how to overcome these problems with the contributions of the participants. In the closing part, group discussions again explored whether there is an “ideal roadmap” for reputation management. The outcomes of the meeting were shared with both the participants and RepMan newsletter subscribers in the form of a RepMan Brainstorming summary report. In the final part of the meeting, Salim Kadıbeşegil’s presentation titled “Reputation Management in 9 Steps” was shared with the participants.
