This year, REPMAN FORUM 2020 was held online due to the pandemic. Held under the theme “The ‘pandemic’ test of reputation,” the forum was watched by 126 active participants on September 21, 2020. You can watch the online recording of the forum here

The rationale for the forum’s theme was defined as follows:

The year 2020 will be remembered in human history for a different agenda. The Coronavirus, said to have originated in Wuhan, China, made its mark in the literature as Covid-19 and disrupted all the norms around the world. We became passengers on a journey with no clear destination, unsure when we would return to normal life, to the “good old days.” Aside from curfews and restrictions, we are facing major challenges around the world in meeting basic needs to sustain life. Naturally, brands and companies are the ones most affected by this chaotic environment. They cannot see ahead, they cannot make consistent decisions in an environment of uncertainty, in short, they do not know what to do.

Their most important asset, their “reputation,” is at great risk. Is it possible to remain a company or brand that is liked and respected by society in this climate of uncertainty?

The guests of the forum chaired by Salim Kadıbeşegil, Founding Advisory Board Member of the RepMan Reputation Research Center, were, in order of the program schedule: Nuran Aksu, Ertuğrul Onur, Tayfun Bayazıt, moderated by M. Serdar Kuzuloğlu, Ümit Boyner, and Prof. Dr. Haluk Gürgen, who gave the closing speech.
