The III. RepMan Reputation Research Center Workshop, held on September 23rd at the home of Roche Turkey, brought the question of “Should Reputation Have a Reward?” to the agenda.
The workshop, moderated by Salim Kadıbeşegil, Founding Advisory Board Member of RepMan Reputation Research Center, and attended by representatives from various sectors, civil society organizations, media, and agencies, addressed the following questions:
- What are the research projects from Turkey and around the world that lead to reputation?
- Do these projects have common areas and are they in line with universal values?
- Should there be an award for reputation?
- Why should there be one, and why shouldn’t there be one?
These topics were discussed.
In the end-of-day evaluation of the workshop participants, a common opinion emerged on the point that “there should be an award for reputation”.
Many issues such as the reputation of the institution that will give the award, the award methodology, supporting the research with additional stages, and stakeholder participation were also discussed in relation to how the award for reputation should be.
The RepMan Workshop, which will be held for the fourth time in December, will continue to keep reputation at the top of the agenda with a new topic.
