Bringing together 10 expert speakers, the RepMan Reputation Management Certificate Program will take place at SALT Galata between September 23rd and October 14th (4 full-day Saturdays, a total of 28 hours), coordinated by Salim Kadıbeşegil and Nuran Aksu.

Program Aim and Scope
The RepMan Reputation Management Certificate Program is designed for professionals whose work agenda includes corporate reputation management or who want to add a new field to their careers. It is Turkey’s first and only reputation management certificate program where each of the main components and fundamental principles of reputation management is presented with the contributions of expert and valuable guest speakers. Participants who complete the entire program receive a certificate of participation, and a one-day participation option is also offered.
Program Objectives and Participant Gains
The program aims for participants to achieve tangible gains at the end of the program.
- The aim is for participants to be able to relate their career plans to reputation management,
- To be able to create a social stakeholder map,
- To increase their competence in Reputation Research Design,
- To be able to establish the relationships between ethics, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, social innovation and sustainability practices and reputation management,
- To be informed about exemplary practices that will support the inclusion of reputation management in their companies’ agendas,
- To have concrete data on the effects of reputation management on business results,
- To have knowledge about how company managers can properly integrate reputation management into Key Performance Indicators.
Participants are expected to have data and information supported by examples in all these areas; and to be able to transfer this knowledge to their professional lives and personal careers.

The RepMan Certificate Program is limited to 16 people, excluding sponsor participants. Those who complete the registration process will have priority.
Location, Time and Refreshments
The program will take place at SALT Galata on 4 Saturdays, September 23rd, 30th, 7th, and 14th, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There will be two coffee breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with refreshments provided by RepMan. Lunch is not included in the program. A one-hour lunch break is provided, and participants can eat at SALT Galata or outside according to their preference.
Registration and Payment Information
The fee for the 29-hour program is 2650 TL + VAT. Participants must provide their billing information in registration correspondence. For individual participants, there is a 4-installment payment option available, payable between July and October.
Daily Participation OptionParticipation is possible on a daily basis. The daily participation fee is 750 TL + VAT. Daily participation requires upfront payment. Information regarding available places is required before participation.
Certificate
Those who attend 22 hours of the 29-hour program will receive a “Certificate of Participation and Achievement”. No certificate will be issued for daily attendance.
Program Documentation
All presentations will be provided on a flash drive.
Films, presentations, articles, and other resources independent of the program will also be included on a flash drive for personal development.
The book “Is There Anything More Important Than Managing Your Reputation?” by Salim Kadıbeşegil, published by Mediacat, 8th edition, will be provided. The textbook for the Advertising and Public Relations Department of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty will be provided.

Nuran Aksu, Program Coordinator
Nuran Aksu is currently a member of the advisory board of RepMan Reputation Research Center, a member of the Board of Directors of the Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Development Association, and the founder and manager of ZENNA Corporate Brand Management Research and Consulting Company. Aksu, who volunteers to support an average of 5 doctoral and thesis students each year, is also one of the coordinators and instructors of the Reputation Management Certificate Program conducted by the RepMan Center. Nuran Aksu shares her articles in BrandMap Magazine every month.
M. Bora Alçı
He is a business strategies and brand consultant. Born in 1968, he graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Business Administration in 1991. After graduation in 1991, he started his professional career as an assistant brand manager at Henkel Turyağ. At Henkel, he was involved in managing numerous brands in the detergent and personal care product categories. In 1997, he joined the strategic project management team at Danone Group’s Beverage Division. He worked on water and beverage projects with an international strategy team. In 1999, he became a marketing manager at Turkcell and led the design and execution of dozens of new products, services, and communication projects. He has been working as a brand consultant since 2001. In 2006, he founded Argus Brand Consulting and Research. Argus, which has developed patented next-generation research and strategy models such as Mind-Decoder®, Observor®, Innovation Clinic®, and Brand Value Authentication®, focuses on developing strategies that offer strong and lasting solutions to challenging brand problems. To date, Argus has provided/continues to provide consulting services to many national and international companies, including Turkcell, Telia Sonera, Unilever, Renault, Pepsi-Lipton International, Little Caesars, Efes Pilsen, Koton, Enerjisa, and Ford. Bora Alçı is also a professional speaker and teaches “Strategic Brand Management” in the Communication Master’s program at Bilgi University. He volunteers to support programs that find homes for stray dogs and the Cancer-Free Life Association.
Prof. Dr. Haluk Gürgen
Prof. Gürgen, one of the leading communication academics in our country, served as a faculty member at Anadolu University and Bahçeşehir University. He supervised many master’s and doctoral theses in fields such as public relations, advertising, branding, corporate communication, internal communication, and reputation management. Between 1998 and 2005, he served as Vice Rector at Anadolu University, and between 2008 and 2014, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Bahçeşehir University. He currently teaches undergraduate and doctoral programs at Bahçeşehir University.
Muhterem İlgüner
He is a leading brand strategist and practitioner in Turkey. Since 2002, he has brought many issues that add depth to branding to the agenda of Turkey and ensured their implementation for the first time. İlgüner, who has also served as the Turkey Director of Brand Finance, a leading global brand valuation company, since 2006, has been managing the “TURKEY100 – Turkey’s Most Valuable Brands” research for the past 8 years. Muhterem İlgüner, who has participated as a speaker in numerous conferences both domestically and internationally, has authored books on branding titled “The Golden Rules of Creating and Sustaining Brands in Turkey”, “Brand City”, “Brand Value”, and “Branding in Depth”.
Salim Kadıbeşegil, Program Coordinator
Kadıbeşegil, who possesses academic and professional experience and significant references in the field of Strategic Communication Management, pioneered the recognition and establishment of the Corporate Reputation Management concept in our country. Through her company, ORSA Strategic Communication Consultancy, she has provided consultancy services to leading domestic and international brands in their respective sectors for over 20 years. Kadıbeşegil, who represented Turkey as a Board Member of the International Communication Consultancy Association (ICCO), headquartered in London, for five years, also provided consultancy services for Capital Magazine’s “Most Admired Companies” project. Between 2001 and 2011, Kadıbeşegil served as the Turkey representative for “The Reputation Institute,” headquartered in New York. She was honored with the “Public Relations Honorary Award” by İDA (İdea Communication Consultancy Companies) in 2017. She has published nine books.
M. Serdar Kuzuloğlu
He entered the media world, his childhood dream, in 1995. He provided information on technology and trends in a number of newspapers, magazines, radio, television, and digital platforms. He brought many media outlets to the internet and managed them. He pioneered content projects at the digital agency he co-founded. He is one of the founders and instructors of Next Academy, a digital marketing master’s program under the umbrella of Istanbul Bilgi University. He is an investor in a restaurant chain and a smart retail sales management system. He continues to produce content on technology and trends and gives speeches in this context.
Suat Özçağdaş
Suat Özçağdaş, who graduated from the Middle East Technical University Psychology Department in 1997 and worked as a research assistant at the same university for a while, later held management positions in non-governmental organizations such as the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the Turkish Red Crescent Society (Kızılay), and the Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation (TEGV). Throughout his career with the Red Cross-Red Crescent, he established and managed psychosocial support programs in countries such as Turkey, Kosovo, and Indonesia. Following this, he worked for six years at TEGV (Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation), where he served as the manager responsible for the foundation’s education and volunteer services across 87 activity centers in 35 provinces, involving 10,000 volunteers. After TEGV, Suat Özçağdaş decided to pursue a career by creating an organization that would contribute to a sustainable and high-quality life for people, society, and the planet by producing innovative solutions to unmet social problems. To this end, he founded the Social Innovation Center with academics from various universities and volunteer and professional friends working in a wide variety of civil society organizations.
Fadile Paksoy
After completing her economics education, Fadile Paksoy graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Communication. Starting from her university years, she wrote articles for various national publications, primarily Cumhuriyet Magazine. Her professional career… Paksoy continued her career as News Editor at Kongre Gazetesi, Media Relations Director at Ünsal Porter Novelli, Project Manager at Bersay, and Deputy General Manager at Su CSR. In 2011, she founded Benchmark, a company providing services in corporate social responsibility and sustainability. Benchmark’s mission is “to create shared value for the private sector, public sector, and civil society organizations through its products and services, and to contribute to social development and sustainable development.” At Benchmark, she continues to implement practices that create value for brands and society.
Faik Uyanık
He studied English Economics at Istanbul University. With a Jean Monnet scholarship, he completed his master’s degree in European Studies at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, focusing on EU Regional Development Policy. He received his master’s and doctorate in Journalism from Marmara University. He began his journalism and broadcasting career in 1992 at BRT, affiliated with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. From 1997 onwards, he worked at NTV for ten years. He spent over three years at the BBC Turkish Service in London. In 2008, he won the Sedat Simavi Award from the Turkish Journalists Association. Since 2010, he has served as the Communications Coordinator for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Turkey. He also serves as a member of the UNDP’s Eurasia regional communications team in Istanbul, responsible for partnerships, events, and press relations.
He is a key figure in this field. Tayfun Zaman
Tayfun Zaman, Managing Partner at Integrity Partners, is the Founding General Secretary of the Turkish Ethics and Reputation Association (TEİD) and the founding director of the Turkish Integrity Center of Excellence (TICE). He is the editor of INmagazine and the author of 8 ethics and compliance guides, two of which are for the B20. He has given numerous speeches on business ethics, reputation management, anti-corruption programs, and the hidden cost of corruption at international and national platforms, including the United Nations and the OECD.
