Sustainability is now at the top of the agenda. It stands before us as a concept that companies, universities, and civil society, including public institutions, are prioritizing. Climate change alone is the main player on all agendas. The business world is updating its business models with sustainability strategies. However, very rapid changes are being observed around the world. There is debate about how much these updates meet society’s expectations!

Where are we getting stuck in these strategies? Institutional reputation receives a performance rating based on sustainability practices. However, companies’ main performance indicators are evaluated primarily through financial metrics. Could this be where the bottleneck begins?

While the answers to these questions are being debated on one side, concepts such as “greenwashing,” “artwashing,” and “sportswashing” are taking the agenda to other dimensions on the other. What position will we take in the face of these developments? Leaders’ sustainability vision, the adequacy of reporting standards, the agenda of regulatory bodies, the circular economy and green agreement, and the dilemmas of civil society are among the topics we will discuss at our events this year.

RepMan has been engaged in awareness-raising activities on “sustainability” for over a decade. However, today there is a greater need than ever for the outcomes of experience and expertise in this field. Therefore, in 2024, our events will examine the extent to which sustainability strategies are consistent with their implementation.

This year, we have also put creating a new RepMan vision on our agenda. We will discuss how companies can adapt to changing values in managing corporate reputation and what “exemplary” policies they can develop based on these values. Against the backdrop of accountability becoming an increasingly important value, what companies can do in terms of “real-time applications” is also on our agenda.

We extend our sincere thanks to our corporate supporters for 2024: Allianz Türkiye, Kale Group, Panasonic EWT, Türk Traktör, Unilever, Yapı Kredi, and Zorlu Holding.
