The forum continued with Dr. Markus Renner’s presentation after the opening speeches; She gave a presentation titled “Corporate Reputation; How Companies Can Measure, Manage, and Support Reputation Success,” and answered questions from the audience. The second part of the forum featured a panel/discussion titled “Where is the Reputation Economy Heading?” Prof. Dr. Haluk Gürgen, Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Bahçeşehir University, and Dr. Şeref Oğuz, Economics Editor and columnist for Sabah Newspaper, shared their views on the subject with the participants. The final part of the forum announced the ranking of companies with the highest reputation management performance in Turkey in 2012. The results and evaluations, presented by Nuran Aksu, GfK Turkey Reputation Research Consultant and Advisory Board Member of RepMan Reputation Research Center, concluded with contributions from the audience. Forum participants were given an article titled “What is Reputation Management Used For?”. The “Turkey’s Top Reputation Management Companies” research was conducted by RepMan Reputation Research Center, sponsored by GfK Turkey. The research was conducted in 2012 in 7 geographical regions, 15 cities, and with 16,243 people through face-to-face interviews. The research evaluated 15 sectors and 155 companies within those sectors. RepMan Reputation Research Center announced the reputation management scores of the sectors and the ranking of companies within those sectors. According to the announced results, the “Durable Goods and Telecommunications” sectors have the highest reputation management score in Turkey. Based on research considering 15 sectors, the “Durable Goods and Telecommunications” sectors received the highest score among all sectors with a Reputation Management Score (RMS) of 65 out of 100.
